Fashion styling and production

About me

Many years ago I was trained as a Graphic designer, but after working in this industry for some years I wanted to do something new, something more related with a passion I had developed during Graphic design school: fashion.

I entered a styling competition organised by stylist Steven Dahlberg and guess what?! I won! And not just anything: I won a styling clinic lead by Steven himself. To this day I am so honored he saw something in that awkward girl that had no clue of what she was doing but who did it anyway, and made him believe in me. The clinic itself was loads of fun and convinced me even more of the fact that fashion would be my future.

In September 2010 I decided that it was time to quit my job as a graphic designer and throw myself into fashion. After assisting for some years with renowned stylists such as Alex van der Steen, Bonnie Orleans Voss, Sabine Geurten and Xaviera Aubri, I found my way into an internship with Dutch fashion magazine Grazia. From there I have developed myself as an allround shopping editor and fashion stylist for several Dutch titles and a wide variety of commercial clients. Pinch me please?!

What I love about my job is the fact that you get to work with so many different people, each with their own amazing view on the world, art, music, food & fashion.

From dressing at runway shows and steaming garments to shooting editorials, video clips and fashion stills, there is not a single piece of work I don’t like. I do what I love most and that makes me the happiest girl in the world.
